I'm a little late coming to this fic but ... I loved it!
This line was brilliant: "She struggled to quell the lurch in her stomach – an incredulous, regret/stupidity combination with an annoyingly persistent side of whybringacorsage?"
Cameron was so well characterized. I loved how you had her attempt to build distance and how it suddenly was swept away on the park bench: "He looked at her then, and the distance she'd been cultivating seemed to collapse into the size of half a park bench. Nothing felt right, everything was alien; but the bruised feeling was gone."
Determined, hopeful, brave: if that's what House thinks about Cameron, I'm happy. Getting someone a cheesy mug as an offhand apology seems quite Houselike.
