Gack! That was awesome. So, so, so unbelievably awesome. (And you're making me want to re-watch Torchwood!) I ADORE Jack/Gwen, though I haven't really read any fic for them. Which is probably for the best, as you pretty much captured everything I would want from it. Except my secret need for angsty and desperate Jack/Gwen sex.

And so he wouldn’t hold her, he wouldn’t pull her close to him, feel her warm breath, tangle his fingers in her hair. He wouldn’t press his lips to hers, treasure her mouth and tongue with his. Feel her touching him.

That was my favourite bit. Awesome.
